Student Sponsor Partners and Cardinal Hayes alumnus, Darnell Yates, gave his time to talk about the immense impact SSP has had on his life and how it motivated him to start his own nonprofit based in Brooklyn which provides educational and mentorship assistance to students primarily in grades K-8.
In this exclusive interview, he shares how "without the opportunity to go to Cardinal Hayes High School, I wouldn’t be where I am right now, hands down. SSP provided academic and socio-emotional support and impacted my entire life in a way I can't show all and say in words, because of SSP I was afforded the opportunity."
