Bill Anderson has been involved with Student Sponsor Partners for over 20 years, has sponsored 20+ students, and has served on the Board of Directors since 2014. Bill is a senior managing director at Evercore and is one of the leading M&A practitioners on Wall Street. He also pioneered activism defense and has defended over 500 companies.

Prior to joining Evercore, Bill was a partner at Goldman Sachs and leader of their defense team. He was previously an attorney for Simpson Thacher & Barlett, clerked on the Second Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals, was a CPA for Coopers & Lybrand and served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves (where he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal). He earned a B.S.B.A, magna cum laude, and a J.D., magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from Georgetown University where he served as Managing Articles Editor of the Georgetown Law Journal. He also was an Eagle Scout.

Bill is a leader of the Board of Catholic Charities New York and serves on the boards of Georgetown Business School, Institute for Corporate Governance and Finance – New York University, the Wall Street Alliance, the Institute for Law and Economics – University of Pennsylvania and Veterans on Wall Street.

Our Featured Speaker

Justin Tuck joined Goldman Sachs in 2018 as a vice president and was named managing director in 2021. He is a managing director in Private Wealth Management (PWM), serving as an advisor in the Partners Coverage Group. He also serves as co-head of the PWM Inclusive Wealth Initiative.

Prior to joining the firm, Justin was a defensive lineman in the NFL for 11 years. During this time, he won two Super Bowls as a member of the New York Giants, served as a team captain for eight seasons and was inducted into the Giants Ring of Honor in 2016.

In 2008, Justin and his wife, Lauran, founded Tuck’s R.U.S.H. for Literacy to encourage children to READ, UNDERSTAND, SUCCEED, and HOPE. The organization is committed to raising funds to donate books and reading materials to support children in the New York, New Jersey, California, and Central Alabama communities, as well as providing local organizations with grants to further serve youth.

Justin serves on the Leadership Council for the Robin Hood Foundation, the University of Notre Dame Wall Street Leadership Board and the boards of the Pure Edge Foundation, the Vera Institute of Justice and Points of Light.

Justin earned a BA in Management from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame in 2005 and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2018.
