Sponsorship: Provide high-quality education to students in need through financial sponsorship. Full sponsorship for each student is $5,000 per year for four years ($20,000 total per student). 100% of these donations go directly toward student tuition at private high schools. Sponsors see the impact of their support firsthand with regular updates on their students’ progress through high school.
Mentorship: Encourage and support students as they face obstacles and follow their dreams. Mentors serve as positive influences, professional role models, and academic champions for SSP students. Mentors typically meet with their students in person at least 6 times per year and maintain phone contact monthly, but during the pandemic we’re asking pairs to conduct 1-2 video chats and/or phone calls per month and stay in touch weekly through text.
Donation: Give what you can to help students escape the cycle of poverty through the power of education and mentoring.
Volunteer Opportunities: Help us introduce students to different college and career paths. We work with partners to tailor events and activities, offering opportunities on a one-time basis or in a series. Examples of volunteer engagement opportunities include college and career exploration panels and workshops, industry walkthroughs, speed interviewing, and essay reviews.
