For more than 35 years, Student Sponsor Partners has been at the frontlines of battling social and racial injustices by providing equal access to education for minority students as a means of opening doors and breaking the cycle of poverty and inequity. The New York City-based nonprofit offers scholarships to private high schools, one-on-one mentorship, and college and career preparatory programs for youth in underserved neighborhoods. The results speak for themselves – SSP scholars are twice as likely to graduate from high school than their peers attending New York City public high schools and are four times as likely to graduate from college than their peers nationally.
