Natasha is a senior at Academy of Mount St. Ursula and one of our Flanigan Scholars. As graduation day approaches, she has been reflecting on the past four years -- her education, mentorship, and incredible experiences that have prepared Natasha for her next adventure.
She has excelled academically throughout high school and has participated in her community, volunteering at animal shelters and capturing the stories of her Student Sponsor Partners peers as an ambassador. And now, she is excited to share that she was accepted to her dream school, New York University, and has made the decision to attend the Shanghai campus where she will major in marketing!
She is proud of how far she's come and to be able to represent and inspire other Latina girls in her community. Natasha is grateful for her support system comprised of her mom, mentor, teachers, and Student Sponsor Partners team, all of whom have rooted for her and provided advice and resources along the way.
"In addition to the numerous opportunities through Student Sponsor Partners, my mentor has majorly impacted me," Natasha said. "I am delighted to say that she has enhanced my love for nature and has helped me push my comfort zone in the most pleasant of ways."
