Student Sponsor Partners (“SSP,” “we,” “us”, “our”) share your concerns about the protection of your personal information and want you to be familiar with how we collect, use and disclose information. This Privacy Policy describes our practices in connection with information that we collect through the website owned and controlled by us as well as personal information we collect via email, phone, and on printed marketing materials. By using this site or providing personal information to us, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.
Student Sponsor Partners does not share personal information about our donors, sponsors, students, or alumni with outside parties without permission. Under no circumstances does SSP ever share or sell the names or contact information of any donors, sponsors, or alumni to any organizations for solicitation purposes. Our community database is password protected and accessible only by SSP.
SSP offers donors the opportunity to make online credit card gifts, as well as purchase tickets or merchandise through the site. Credit card information is not stored permanently, and is used only to process the transaction for which it is intended. The operators of this site would like to assure you that measures have been taken to make such transactions secure for its members.
We collect and store only the following information about you: the name of the domain from which you access the Internet (for example, aol.com, if you are connecting from an America Online account, or princeton.edu if you are connecting from Princeton University’s domain), the date and time you access our site, and the Internet address of the website from which you linked to our site. We use the information we collect to measure the number of visitors to the different sections of our site, and to help us make our site more useful to visitors.
If you complete the Profile update form and share your personally identifying information, this information will be used only to provide you with more targeted content. We may use your contact information to send further information about our organization or to contact you when necessary. You may always opt-out of receiving future mailings.
We use reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect Personal Information under our control. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or data storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of any account you might have with us has been compromised), please immediately notify us of the problem by contacting us.
Your choices regarding our use and disclosure of your Personal Information
We give you many choices regarding our use and disclosure of your Personal Information for marketing purposes. If you no longer want to receive update emails from us on a going-forward basis, you may opt-out of receiving these emails by contacting us at the email or postal address listed in the “Contacting Us” section below. We will try to comply with your request(s) as soon as reasonably practicable.
For children who visit our site, special rules apply. We do not request personal information about children, such as first and last name or street address and city. When kids send email to us, their online contact information (email address) is not used to re-contact them and is not maintained in retrievable form.
