We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Lord Abett to expose our students to the world of STEM. Together, SSP and Lord Abbett invited SSP students to four trips throughout the school year to the Liberty Science Center. Freshmen from our partner schools such as Cardinal Hayes High School, Cristo Rey New York High School, Cathedral High School, and La Salle Academy explored and benefited from dynamic and engaging STEM programming.
As an interactive museum, the Liberty Science Center contains several exhibitions for the students to partake in. One that became the highlight of the trip was called "The Building". Students we able to challenge the laws of gravity by pretending to hang off a balcony through a giant mirror standing over them at an angle. These trips are crucial for students to learn outside of the classroom.
We are excited to continue working with Lord Abbett in a multitude of ways to reinvigorate our students' ambitions.
