On August 11, Google invited SSP students to join them at their Chelsea office for a day of learning through a panel and coding workshops, all in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop!
As part of the full-day workshop, about 30 SSP students learned to code and how to use coding for music. In addition to coding, students heard from speakers and panelists and asked them questions about working at Google, technology, and the role of technology in music and arts. Panelists that spoke with the students included successful musicians and leaders in the technology industry.
