We have a long history of working with private high schools across the city to ensure student success through quality education.
Student Sponsor Partners works with multiple high schools across the city to create opportunity for low-income and academically average students. A quality education is critical to our strategy that helps students escape the cycle of poverty and reach their highest potential. The schools we work with provide individualized attention and care to ensure student success.
Partner schools save an agreed upon number of slots for Student Sponsor Partners candidates each year, and our sponsors cover a portion of tuition – the remainder of tuition is matched by the school and parents/guardians have a small annual fee (this allows every one to be invested in the student’s education). Each partner school has a school coordinator who monitors students in our programs and facilitates meetings for our Engagement Managers and students, as well as other requests and concerns from Student Sponsor Partners throughout the year.
If you’re a middle school administrator and would like to learn more and/or host an info session for your 7th and 8th grade students, please contact mfaddoul@sspnyc.org.
We’re grateful for our partner schools that make a significant difference for our students.
