There are multiple ways to sponsor a student:

Sponsors donate their time to mentoring students, and pay a significant portion of their students’ tuition. The average annual tuition for new students is $3,500, with students’ low income families contributing an additional $900 each year.

Time Sponsors donate their time, and give a smaller annual tuition contribution. They are paired with Committed Friends, who cover a larger portion of students’ tuition costs.

Committed Friends provide much needed financial support, but do not make a time commitment to students. Like Sponsors, Committed Friends pay all or a significant portion of students’ tuition.

With Team Sponsoring, a group of friends or colleagues pools their donations to fund a student’s annual tuition, while one member of the network takes on the mentoring responsibility. Financial supporters within the group need not have a formal relationship with the student, but are encouraged to remain engaged with the student's progress through the mentor.

Donations to SSP are fully tax-deductible.
